The Shambhala Shop is home to the books and recordings of major Shambhala Buddhist teachers and also offers banners and flags, pins, brushes, photographs and prints in the Shambhala tradition.
Shipping
Orders placed using our online store are calculated using standard Canada Post tables based on the actual item weight and shipping destination. Due to this difference in shipping calculations, shipping prices may vary between online orders and phone/mail orders. (Shipping charges for online orders may be less than for orders place by mail, phone or email). There is a minimum shipping and handling fee of $5. Shipping charges will vary by package size, and may be slightly higher than the amount shown while placing your order.
Some items will indicate free shipping, or that shipping is included in the cost of the item. Unfortunately, our website cannot understand this, and will want to charge you shipping. Please rest assured that we will manually override this feature and process your payment at the promoted shipping rate.
Stock items are shipped within 2-7 days from the order date. Custom orders and audio/video material may take longer to process. Please allow 3-5 weeks for your order to arrive, although you will likely have your order sooner.
We generally ship via Canada Post Xpress Post or Expedited Service.
Smaller items may be shipped by Airmail at our discretion.
We ship RUSH ORDERS via FedEx or Purolator; please call to place your order and for pricing.
Oversea orders are shipped via Canada Post International Xpress Air (3-9 day delivery), or Surface Mail (8-10 week delivery). We are also able to ship small parcels by non-express airmail (1-3 week delivery). Please specify your preference when placing your order.
**Please remember that bulky items like flags and banners can be costly to ship (in spite of their nominal weight). Please allow 4-6 weeks for delivery of flags and banners. Rush and custom orders are available; please call us for details.
Payment Processing
We have implemented a new International pricing system!
All orders received from countries outside of the United States and Canada will be charged in CDN funds within a few days of placing your order.
Note: Orders placed on this site are processed in CDN $. For your convenience the approximate US amount is shown with the item. (Actual amount will vary from that shown depending on the exchange rate used by VISA/MC/AMEX at the time the transaction is processed.) We strive to be as accurate as possible; please email us with any questions or concerns you may have.
To order online, please follow these steps:1. Add the item(s) you wish to purchase to your basket
2. Once you've added all the items you need, select either "Check out" or "View Basket" on the left hand side of your screen. (The "View Basket" screen will let you change quantities or delete items.)
3. At the Check out, select the country where the items are to be shipped.
**Both the shipping and billing addresses must be in the same country.
4. Enter your email address in the space provided. If you are an existing customer, enter your customer code. If you are a new customer, leave the customer code field blank. (If the email you enter doesn't match the one we have on file for you, your customer code won't work. Please contact us to update your information, instead of creating a new account.)
5. Select proceed to go the payment information area. Enter your information in the spaces provided. **Your credit card information is NOT stored with your customer details for security reasons. Therefore, it will not be automatically filled in for you. Please ensure your card type, expiry date and number have been entered correctly.
6. Select "Make the Order". You will receive an email confirming that we have received your order. Please note that most orders are not shipped unless payment has been processed in full. **If you are ordering for a Shambhala Center, please email us or call us at 902-421-1550 Ext. 1 so that we can do a one-time customer set up to establish terms of discounts and billing. To allow sufficient shipping time, please place your order 2-3 weeks prior to the program start date.
Returns
Please email us (or call 902-421-1550 Ext. 1) prior to returning any merchandise. Failure to contact us could result in customs and/or re-stocking fees. We reserve the right to refuse return authorization.
