This photo was taken during the opening parade of the first Midsummer's Day celebration, in 1978. Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche, the Vajra Regent Osel Tendzin and Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche are here seen in a open buggy, driving to the top of the small field in which the celebration took place.
