The first Midsummer's Day took place in 1978, outside of Boulder,
Colorado. It was a community event, and it evolved into a pagent-like festival
involving diverse parts of the community in feasting, playing , and celebration.
This year the Midsummer's Soltice is celebrated by members of the Shambhala
Community around the world, on June 20th, 1998.
